Meet the Therapist
Lutfi Alkaddour, PsyD
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Therapy with me is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in genuine curiosity—but more than that, it’s a space where you can slow down and begin to make sense of what’s been difficult to hold on your own for a long time.
Many of the people I work with are navigating questions around identity, relationships, self-doubt, or a sense of not belonging.
My approach isn’t one-size-fits-all. I don’t just listen and nod, and I don’t rush to give advice.
I pay close attention to patterns—emotional, relational, and somatic—and help you make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface.
Sometimes I’ll reflect and explore with you. Other times, I’ll be more direct in naming what I’m noticing.
I tend to be most helpful when therapy becomes a space not just for expression, but for reflection and real change.
The goal is to create a space where insight and change can actually take shape—not just be talked about.
I’m especially attuned to complexity. I tend to hold a lot at once—different emotional “parts,” conflicting motivations, and the subtle shifts in how you experience yourself—and help organize that into something clearer, more workable, and easier to move with. I’m also comfortable sitting with difficult emotions without rushing them, while still keeping a sense of direction in the work. So things don’t just get talked about—they begin to shift.
My background has shaped how I understand people. I spent part of my childhood in the U.S. and part in Syria, later training in medicine in Jordan before ultimately transitioning into clinical psychology after returning to the U.S. Having lived across different cultures and paths, I understand what it can feel like to be out of place, internally conflicted, or pulled toward a life that doesn’t quite match external expectations. I also know the clarity and sense of alignment that can come from choosing a direction that feels more true to you. That’s often the work we end up doing together.
Outside of therapy, I’m drawn to creative work, including studying music composition.
If you’re looking for a space where you can reflect more deeply, feel more connected to yourself, and move toward meaningful change—we may be a good fit.
