A space to better understand yourself—especially when things feel complex, conflicted, or unclear

About Journey Home

My approach is grounded in the belief that you already have an intuitive understanding of yourself, even if it feels distant, conflicted, or difficult to access. Therapy is a space to reconnect with that sense of self—your “inner home”—and begin to build clarity, stability, and direction from within.

I have a particular interest in working with queer and questioning individuals, as well as people navigating identity, cultural complexity, and belonging. This can include feeling pulled between different parts of yourself, navigating family or cultural expectations, or struggling to feel fully at home in who you are. My goal is to offer a space where all of those parts can exist without pressure to conform.

You deserve to feel more grounded in who you are.

Who I Work With

I work with individuals who feel internally split—pulled between different parts of themselves, identities, or expectations. This often includes people who are questioning aspects of who they are, navigating cultural or family pressures, or feeling like they don’t fully belong in any one place.

Many of my clients are thoughtful and self-aware, but feel disconnected from a clear sense of direction or a grounded sense of self. You may be someone who understands yourself intellectually, but still feels stuck, unsettled, or not fully at ease in your own life. Therapy offers a space to understand these internal conflicts and begin to build a more coherent and authentic way of being.

You might relate if you:

  • Feel pulled between different parts of yourself

  • Are questioning identity or direction

  • Feel disconnected from a sense of belonging

How I Work

My approach is informed by several trauma-focused modalities. Rather than applying a single method, I integrate these approaches based on your needs and what feels most helpful in the moment. Our work moves at a pace that feels safe and sustainable for you.

Modalities

I draw from a variety of modalities - ultimately, the priority is working together in a way that feels genuine to you. My work is informed by approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing® (SE™), NeuroAffective Relational Model ® (NARM™), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which I integrate based on the needs of each person.
